Deposits
Should you place a deposit?
The choice is entirely up to you. The puppies sell quite quickly and in most cases there is already a waiting list for a certain sex or color. Placing a deposit guarantees you get a chance to pick from my litters. Once I have received your deposit you will receive a receipt from me stating that this is a refundable deposit if you do not see a puppy you like at the time of selection. This deposit money goes into an account and is held until you get your puppy. I would NEVER place a puppy with someone who is not satisfied.
We require a $250.00 deposit to hold your new puppy.
We cannot hold a puppy until we have received a deposit. Please do not ask for an exception. We must be fair to our buyers and cannot reserve a certain puppy until a deposit is received. Once your deposit is received that certain puppy goes on reserved status and is considered your puppy.
If you send a deposit before the puppy is born it would be completely refundable in the event that you do not find a puppy that suits you. Deposits before birth guarantee your pick of the litter. First depositer gets first pick second depositer gets second pick and so on. Breeder does reserve the right to have first pick of any litter.
The selection process starts when the puppies are 5 to 6 weeks old. Once you pick out a puppy the deposit would be non refundable in fairness to me.
Breeding Rights?
I would expect you to have experience in the breeding field. You will need many years of breeding experience not to mention a great deal of knowledge on the specific Entlebucher breed. There are many issues that can occur when breeding Cavaliers. I am very selective in this decision. Complete understanding of the breed, its specific qualities and problems are very important. You will need to do your research to see if this is what you really want to do. It takes lots of years of hard work and dedication and IS NOT a means to recoup your costs. It is much less expensive to choose your puppies from a good reputable breeder than to invest thousands and thousands of dollars on a breeding program. If you are approved for and purchasing a puppy with breeding rights you will be moved to the front of the list as you need "pick of the litter". I usually only give one per litter and reserve the right to choose the puppy that is best qualified in this case.
Show Puppies?
I do produce puppies with show potential. Breeding rights are not needed to show your dog. Please do not use this as a front for breeding. You cannot breed your dog without breeding rights. After the puppies are born .......You will be notified when to come and pick out your puppy. You will be able to come and visit when the puppies have had their first booster shot which is at 6 weeks of age. For the health and safety of the puppies, please do not request an exception. Pictures will be provided on the website as they grow. If this is not feasable you can also choose your puppy by pictures. By 8 weeks of age, the remaining balance is due in full unless other arrangements have been made. Puppies are normally ready to go home by 8 weeks of age.
How can you pay for your puppy?
We will accept Visa/Mastercard, bank certified cashier's checks, and cash for the deposit. Personal checks will be accepted with an advance time of 14 or more days. Personal checks will not be accepted at pickup for balances due. Cash is required for the balance of the puppy which is due at pick-up. Breeder reserves the right to keep pick of any litter.
Because my puppies are very special to me and I take my job of placing puppies in safe and happy homes very seriously, I reserve the right at any time to refuse the sale of a puppy in the case that I do not feel comfortable with the placement. The placements will always be made in the puppies best interests.
